What is the main purpose of CDChallenge.AI?
CDChallenge.AI is built to answer the question "How well can AI read construction documents?". This website showcases the efficiency and accuracy of our AI tool in reading construction documents and tests participants in the challenge to determine how fast the tool is compared to the traditional CD reading process.
Can this AI tool work for large commercial projects.
Yes! I built this AI tool with commercial project CDs in mind. I created construction documents of my house to test and build this AI tool, but it was built with much larger projects in mind.
How long does the challenge take?
Under 5 minutes. The challenge consists of two parts: navigating construction documents manually and then with the assistance of our AI.
Does the AI have access to my drawings?
No the AI does not have access to the drawings or ever actually sees them. Instead I create a separate word file that explains each view in the set. That text file is converted to embeddings so the AI can access that information when searching. The AI actually never searches the actual drawings.
What if I have feedback or suggestions about the AI tool?
We welcome and value feedback! After completing the challenge, there's an option to provide comments or suggestions. Your insights help us continuously improve and refine the AI Chatbot for CDs.
Can the AI tool integrate with other software I use?
